Since you moved your single cert from your business computer to the 
private machine, I assume you have a p12/pfx certificate file already.

Could you do the following?

Close Mozilla on your home machine. Locate your profile directory, and 
move away the files *.db to a safe place. Be sure to store them safely 
if they contain precious data. Do not do that while Mozilla is running.

Start Mozilla. Use cert manager to import your cert backup file. Now try 
to read the message again? Does it work now?

(To revert to the previous situation, close Mozilla again, and copy back 
your files to the profile directory.)

If that doesn't work, possibly Notes creates a special kind of encrypted 
messages that Mozilla is unable to decrypt. In that case, contact me by 
private mail, I'll send you a signed mail to your Notes account, and you 
could reply encrypted for testing purposes.
