Before you plan to add yet-another protocol for cert enrollment, please explain why none of the existing implemented protocols is sufficient. Also, what protocol will your CA use with IE?
The CA will only support one protocol. Different RA interfaces will deal with different clients if they don't support CMP and can produce a valid request. The CA will accept or reject a request based on policies.
I don't even know where to get the CMMF draft any more (do you have a valid link?).
I will use CRMF but I need a protocol for it. CMP seems to be a good and complete solution. I really need something solid to build on.
