Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the best place for this: someone will tell me I hope. Bugzilla didn't seem the right place.

Just a request, for Thunderbird/mozilla. When using encryption for emails, it would be REALLY good if there was a third option in the settings panel. Account settings > Security > Encryption.
Currently we have:

1. Never
2. Required (can't send unless all recipients have certificates)

It would be much more useful for me to have:

3: Use encryption when possible

Otherwise I have to go to the security button each time I send an email to someone with a certificate and I want to encrypt. In practise every time I can encrypt, I want to.

I guess not a lot of people use encryption yet, which is probably why this hasn't had much attention, but it would make my life a lot easier.

Thanks for listening.
Jay
