Anyone ever seen a list of which applications (outside of the Mozilla Foundation software) rely upon NSS? I've seen references to Open Office, Sun One portal, Netscape/AOL/RedHat Directory Services and Certificate Mgt Services. Any others?

11. OpenOffice.org(?). Not confirmed, but there
is evidence in our bug database that they use NSS.
I don't know what they use NSS for.

I confirm than Openoffice used NSS for digital signature in the new 2.0 version, ( April 2005)

and on linux you must install Mozilla, it used the Mozilla Cert DB .

If you used firefox ou thunderbird like me , you must install Mozilla also.
Why Nss was not a real service ? like gnome-keyring seem to propose it ?

A service for all application of my desktop .

regards.
