Firefox and Thunderbird use the same NSS crypto libraries
for managing crypto devices.
Note, however, that you need to load the device's PKCS #11
(Cryptoki) library separately into Firefox and Thunderbird.
Your message implied that you did that. I just wanted to
make sure.
You should also make sure the device allows multiple
applications (processes) to log in. Firefox and Thunderbird
are two processes.
These are all I can think of...
