Dear Rasmus, The first question to answer is what LDAP server you are using... as they are definately not equal. I am using OpenLDAP and was fighting with the same monster. In my plight, I found the following article: Configuring Netscape roaming with OpenLDAP http://www.linuxworld.com/linuxworld/lw-1999-09/lw-09-ldap-netscape_p.html If nothing else, it should provide a bit of checklist for what you are doing... and maybe give you some more ideas. best regards, David Durkee CIO e-point S.A. www.e-point.pl Rasmus Lerdorf wrote: > I have read > http://help.netscape.com/products/client/communicator/manual_roaming2.htm > l and am quite clear on how to set up my LDAP server, however I can't > seem to get Netscape 4.5 to send anything at all to my server.
