There are Netscape LDAP SDKs for Java (3.1 and 4.0), and for C (3.0 and 4.0). But, Netscape is now pointing to Sun for the downloads and documentation. And, I can only see the "iPlanet Directory SDK" for C (5.06 and 5.08) and for Java (4.1). Mozilla.org also has a Directory SDK available from source, portions of which are in the iPlanet SDK according to a README. > Unfortunally, I'm behind a firewall. I downloaded the SDK over HTTP from: http://wwws.sun.com/software/download/developer/5176.html That may not help if you want the source code. > I am a bit confused about the licensing policy on the C and Java > SDK's. According to README.txt, it is under the NPL, but also covered by a license that Sun wrote up: Any terms of Sun's license agreement covering this LDAP SDK which are different from the Netscape Public License are offered by Sun alone and not by any other party. > Thanks for your help! > > Best regards, > Bernd -- Trevor
