I have a strange problem. My ldap addressbook doesn't work. I can access the server using a java ldap browser, but not with the thunderbird address book browser.
The strange thing is, thunderbird doesn't even generate any packets at all. I've tried to capture the packets between the server and my computer on ports 53 (DNS) and 389 (LDAP) but it just shows nothing. If I use the java ldap browser, I can see packets flowing between the server and my computer.

I'm using Thunderbird 1.0, but it also doesn't work with 0.8 and 0.9 (I didn't install them, just unzipped and tried if it works).

Well, I'm using Thunderbird 1.0 and it works perfectly against the free ldap-based addressbook service provided by ScheduleWorld. I'm just in the middle of documenting how to do this. _______________________________________________ mozilla-directory mailing list [email protected] http://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/mozilla-directory
