I don't agree it's ugly at all. I really like it. What do others think?
(BTW, before we go any further, I'll make the obvious point that this
discussion is totally about subjective aesthetics and not at all about the
information content of the front page.)

The number of links in the left hand menu certainly doesn't fall under
