Sorry, but it seems I have to state it clearly and explicitly here: I found
my way to mozilla _in spite of_ the current general "look 'n' feel" of the
front page. When saw the mozilla front page for the first time, it really
turned me off. I'm sure there are other possible designs that are equally
smart and simple, but less ugly. And even if it's a well-known brand, you
can carry over many symbols to a new design (like the look of the "mozilla"
name, the mascot, the star etc.) that people who know the current page will
recognize the brand. But, please, by no means keep the current design of
the front page.

Another problem with it is the long menu on the left. Please try to limit
the number of available options to 7 or less, at least on the front page.
An endless list of links is scary and it was probably the reason why I
didn't try them out until after several weeks of bugzilla fun.
