I will tell you my actual vision of it and I would like to know if I am wrong somewhere : 1) the html page is taken by http on internet. 2) the khtml parseur is used to convert the html file to a DOM structure. 3) the Rhino Javascript engine is implemented in order to link the DOM structure with the external inputs (like the mouse)
Is there others modules implemented here? 4) the DOM is send to the layout renderer which interprets it and show the result to the screen. I think I'm wrong, so is there someone who can help me? (I've read a lot of documentation about the Xlib, DOM, etc... and I didn't find a picture or a plan which describe the process of the web browser when it reads a html file and I know there is something about the CSS but I don't know where it is implemented) Thank you very much if you can help me!
