midas and backspace

I've found a problem in Midas, with Mozilla 1.4 on Windows 2000. In some 
situations when I'm with the curson on a paragraph, the backspace key 
have no effect. If I insert a character then the backspace misteriously 
now have effect (cancel an HTML element).

Have anyone an answer to this beaviour?
