editor not saving handmade source formating

some people reported this problem earlier but nobody seems to have found 
a solution to it nor is it fixed in 1.5. is there one already? a pointer 
to it (link) would be enough.
also theres another issue with saving.
why does composer always switch from source view to normal view when i 
press save?
