Is this a question as to whether or not builds will exist for OS 9 vs.
OS X or rather what the emphasis will be for embedding? I see no reason
to drop either platform altogether.

Personally -- as an end user -- I'd like to see some kind of OS X build
at the forefront with the OS 9 (Classic) build having less emphasis
(more like a port). From what I've read, Carbon is really a temporary
solution for OS X optimization, so any attempt to make a build with a
UNIX back-end and a Cocoa front-end would be appreciated. (Yes, I know,
"no one wants to program in Objective C," but for Mozilla and Netscape
to be considered a serious contender for OS X users, it's going to have
to be top-notch, and that might not be possible with Carbon.)
