Can this size of ~8.9mb be achieved just be setting various configure flags? If so would you be kind enough to let me know what options you are enabling/disabling?

Thanks,

Neil

* Is a 3MB mozilla browser possible?*

We've downloaded the mozilla source and started following the embedding guidelines, building it under Linux. We need no chrome, navigation, chat, email etc., just very bare bones rendering of web pages on a low res. screen. Our goal is 3MB Flash for everything, loading into 200MB RAM.

A 3MB disk footprint is not possible with Mozilla/Gecko. Currently, the minimum set of "stuff" to render webpages requires ~8.9 mb of disk space. We are working to reduce this set, but I do not believe that we will come close to hitting 3mb.
