I don't think the problem is related to Microsoft JVM, it is rather related
to Suns JRE. Because this problem appears
in application using embedded mozilla in java application, whether activeX
or the WebClient.

SWT is using the in-process architecture too. So you will see the problem when you use mozilla as the embed browser for SWT on Windows.
I suspect the problem is related to AWT thread.
I'm not embedding into a Swing/AWT program, I'm using SWT. Shouldn't the embedded mozilla control spawn separate JVMs for applets? I don't see what the problem is.
