You seem unusually bitter about it. I would have guessed that developers

But this is about *people*. The fact that you seem to consistently 
avoid/overlook is that *most users are incapable of giving detailed useful
feedback*. While "This sucks" or "This rulez" are not *completely* useless
(they do give some idea of the reception), they are not really helpful by
themselves. We don't need developer newsgroups full of such comments. 
Giving useful feedback requires a level of commitment, interest, and often
technical expertise that the majority of users lack. For persons
possessing the requisite qualities, I have complete confidence that the 
Renaming will present no significant barrier to providing feedback.

If you're someone who is fairly certain he knows where to post to
maintain topicality in the new hierarchy while finding the desired
audience, then *you aren't someone the restructuring is intended to
redirect.* Call me elitist if you like, but that knowledge still strikes
me as a pretty low bar.
