Hey.
Some days ago, I downloaded DirectX 8 from Microsoft and installed it.
First it seemed to work fine, but then I recognized that Netscape 4.7
doesn't display many sites correctly. There are many errors like long
passages of text are missing (they only appear when you select them) or
pages that are totally scrambled up. I don't know if this has something
to do with DirectX 8, but it seems very likely to me. I'm using Windows
95. Any suggestions?
Btw, please don't tell me to upgrade to Netscape 6, as I don't really
like it. It simply has a much too bad performance (on my PC that is)...
so what can I do to get Netscape 4.7 to work correctly again??
