I gave the installer a shot about a year ago when I first started
downloading nightlies, didn't like what it did (plus it didn't have
talkback), and switched to the talkback zip files. Tried installer a few
times since and always went back to talkback. Back in the olden days,
they were all about the same size. Much has changed in the past 6
months. I'm going to give Gerv's perl script a go. We'll see what
happens. It's just too bad installer doesn't have talkback in it. I had
a bunch of crashes on the 12/15 build and talkback sent every one of
them. Oh, and I have filed, commented on, and voted for related bugs. It
just doesn't seem to be anybody else's priority. Developer's needs are
more important than us testers/hackers, after all.
