I never have been a fan of having one program for Mail, another one for
news, and finally another email.
I like the one size fits all type application such as Communicator,
Mozilla, Netscape 6, to me is great.
Some time in emails and newsgroup post there are reference links to
websites. If you click on a Link then if you using OE, then it opens IE;
the both combinined use the the same amount of memory as Communicator,
Mozilla, N6. so what is gained.
I keep seeing these arguments over and over about having individual
programs to do individual things, are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I've tried individual items such as Eudora for mail and or OE for mail &
news. I am throughly unimpressed.
In fact i used OE/IE for a year before going to Navigator 3.0.4a Gold.
The first time I tried it I was hooked.
Even now I have Eudora, IE, and OE and keep the latest copies just in
Case. I am still unimpressed.
I like the ability to switch from Mail Reading to News Reading Web
Browsing just by switching windows.
