Hello. I am a software developer but, alas, probably couldn't be of
help to the mozilla project in *that* way. I have however been getting
nightly builds and sometimes post bugs. Posting bugs is actually not a
simple matter given the need to learn whether the bug's already been
reported--knowing the words to use at bugzilla is hit/miss.

Anyway, would *would* be helpful in reporting bugs and following the
project is answers to these questions:

1. In the bonsai tool, under "New Checkins," I often see in the comments
"not part of build." How would one know when some new code *is* part of
the build process? Relatedly, the status reports can be helpful in
showing that sorts of things the developers are doing. For instance, a
friend won't touch mozilla until "print page range" is back. So I was
happy to see recent discussion of printing advances in the status report
page. Yet I don't know how to relate those comments to actual new code
or features in the program...

2. I once ran across a bugzilla page showing "bugs fixed today" or
something close to that. But now I can't find it. This is different
than the section on fixed "most commonly reported bugs," I think. The
bugzilla query page can probably do this, but it is quite intimidating
as a page.

3. What do all the color codes mean in tinderbox? Green and red are
clear enough, but what about yellow and brown? I've spent a lot of time
looking for the legend but can't find it.

Thanks.
