Actually you should go to

<snews://secnes.netscape.co/netscape6.macintosh>
<snews://secnes.netscape.co/netscape6.windows>
<snews://secnes.netscape.co/netscape6.unix>

Be that said. I have brought this up on the newsgroup for macintosh. The
people at Netscape are aware of this and it is a "Major" bug. At this
time they don't know of a solution to this problem. A workaround they
suggest is to use another hard Drive and install on that drive.

Not only does it take over jpeg files it also corrupts files in
Communicator 4.7.6 and all Communicator icons for "any" Communicator
files are taken over by N6. (You have to reinstall Communicator).

I pointed out that prior versions such as Navigator 3 were not adversely
affected with the advent of Communicator 4.x versions unless you allowed
communicator to place an alias of the Netscape file inside the Netscape
User Folder. I noted I could undo the damage somewhat by compressing
the Netscape6 application. Then all Icon and references would revert
back to normal after restart.

I pointed out that this action was not right. No other Mac Application
did this when it went from one style to a complete rewrite.

The Netscape Champion that responded said Netscape was aware of this but
have no solution for the problem on the horizon and no work around
except not to install N6 on the same hard drive as Communicator.

Mozilla doesn't apparently do this by the way.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
