(sounds like the title of a Slashback, doesn't it? :-)

Two pieces of news:

The first is that it has just been confirmed that I am lucky enough to
have got the first ever mozilla.org internship. I will be working for
them, hopefully on-site in Mountain View, from mid-August to mid-November
of 2001, doing "whatever needs doing." Wahey! :-)

The second is related to the fact that, at Universities here in the UK,
your grade for the three or four years of your course is assessed using
one large set of exams at the very end. For me, those exams are in
mid-June, and it's time for other commitments to fade into the background
and revision to begin. I also have a project (http://www.dsmltools.org) to
write up.

So, notice is hereby given that I am going into "hibernation" from now
until then. This doesn't mean I won't be around at all, but it does mean
that open-ended commitments, such as the website reorganisation and
general QA stuff, will have to be dropped. I also won't be able to take on
any new commitments that people might otherwise consider sending my way.
Think of it as a lowering of profile.

So, if you don't see me around and about as much as before, this is the
reason. Obviously, I'll still answer email. I might even read news (at
least, for a bit) :-)
