ON MAC SYSTEMS and COULD on other systems:
Actually Netscape 6 Does affect Communicator and will cause corruption
of Communicator.
In order to for it not to do so you must install N6 on a separate hard Drive.
If N6 Communicator resides on same hard drive, all Communicator file
types and Icons will be updated to Netscape 6 icons. Also if you
accidentally open Communicator and N6 at the same time. N6 causes
corruption of Communicator. You will have to reinstall Communicator.
Symptoms of the Corruption is that Communicator will not open and quit
with type - 3 errors upon starting to open.
Netscape is aware of this and does not know of a solution on the work
around of installing on a separate drive.
