So you're saying
 - with an up-to-date Win32 build
 - you get decent load times from a fresh profile
 - after importing old bookmarks load times go to hell

You verified a new build so either bug 69009 already regressed (I just
checked: the old broken code hasn't come back) or it's a different problem
I'd be happy to look into. Can you reproduce this problem by importing the
big bookmark file attached to bug 69009? If so I have everything I need; if
not we need to investigate the differences between that example and your
personal bookmark file and create a test case that exhibits the same
problems.
