Cross posting?

Greetings,

I tried to post a message announcing the availability of Qt-Mozilla
earlier today, but it hasn't shown up in any of the
netscape.public.mozilla newsgroups yet.  I had cross posted it across
several groups and I am wondering if perhaps I ran into a filter of some
kind.  Is there a limit on the number of groups I can cross post to? 
Are there any other guidelines I should be aware of?  If so, can someone
point me in their general direction?
