If you'd like this feature into Mozilla then please file a bug on it. 
Make sure you mark the severity as "enhancement" so it's known that this 
is a feature request not a bug.

Please also provide any liks to Opera software detailing their 
implementation, I believe if we implement this stiching to the Opera 
gestures if they're sensible will be the best idea.
