I can probably figure this out for myself if I investigate hard enough
but I'm posting first because I'm sure that somebody has done this
before me and can just tell me the way to do it.
I assume there is something you can put in your userChrome.css file that
will set display:none on the text labels underneath all the toolbar
buttons in the classic theme (thereby providing the equivalent of 4.x's
"show toolbars as icons only" pref item). Does anyone happen to know
what this magic line is?
