This maybe completely judgemental on my part, but based on your email it
does not appear to me that you understand exactly what Mozilla is, and
all you want is an everyday browser to do all the things that you need
to do.
Mozilla is also not really intended for casual computer use, since it is
not even at version 1.0 yet (0.9 arrives in a week or so), but for
developers and volunteers who want to test it out and file bug reports.
I mean it's perfectly possible, since I use Mozilla for 99.9% of my
browsing and email, although there are risks associated with it because
it is under development.
I have a web site that clarifies the distinction and relation between
Netscape and Mozilla, which many people get confused with. I suggest
that you take a look at the following first:
http://www.gerbilbox.com/newzilla/general/general01.php
http://www.gerbilbox.com/newzilla/general/general02.php
http://www.gerbilbox.com/newzilla/mozilla/general01.php
Snoop around other areas of the site, they might be helpful.
96 MB of RAM should work pretty well, as long as you're not running a
bunch of other big programs at the same time, but 166 MHz is a bit
border line.
