Depends on the frame of reference... On Mac OS X, other apps have the
Aqua look and Mozilla stands out of the crowd in a bad way.

Unaffected by the MDI, X11 and Mac users can deal with multiple windows.
MDI is bad. It destroys interapplication drag&drop and severely hinders
attempts to use windows efficiently.
(The irony of all this is that the system named "Windows" has a broken
windowing paradigm that makes it unpractical to use the windowed UI
efficiently.)
