It's a command-line "internet cp".  You can use it to suck down anything
from a single file to a whole website ready for mirroring from an http
or ftp server.  It's impervious to timeouts, it'll simply keep retrying
until it gets what you told it to get.  I find it indispensable for
large transfers over modem.
