People make things harder on themselves sometimes.
Instructions he gave you to move Mozilla is similar to the
way I get rid of an old build on a Mac or Windows: just
rename or move the folder/directory.
At least in the past I used to see a lot of people who ask
how to install Mozilla from a ZIP file, and all I tell them
is to unzip/unstuff and they're done!
Of course, not everything in Mozilla is so painless, but
that'll eventually change :)
