I never said IBM failed. IBM's desktop PC business failed and IBM's MCA
failed. You can add IBM's OS/2 as another failure. IBM, however, is
still alive and well. I am not predicting the demise of MS, I'm
predicting the demise of MS Windows on the desktop, perhaps as the
result of the failure of .NET and Windows/Office XP, perhaps, even, as
the result of the success of .NET and XP. And if I'm wrong, I'm just
another MS basher who dowsn't know what he's taking about. But if I'm
right, I'm just too damn smart ;)
