Try following:
1. on the sidebar panel click "Tabs" -> "Customize Sidebar..."
2. in the list labeled "Tabs in My Sidebar:" select "Bookmarks"
3. click "Remove" button
4. click "OK"
5. close Mozilla (make shure You don't have any mozilla processes running)
6. restart Mozilla
7. on the sidebar panel click "Tabs" -> "Customize Sidebar..."
8. add Bookmarks to Your sidebat tabs collection
9. click "OK"
10. Voila' ;)
The trick is to fully close all mozilla processes, not just one window
before re-adding the bookmarks panel.
And if You have preloader enabled kill thatone also - just in case.
