No not exactly imcompetent. Let's just say uncomfortable/battel
scared/ptsd (post traumatic stress Disordered). I may dig in into OS-X
but i may wait until OS XI is out before i do so.

When working with the schools system I was reinstalling either DOS,
Windows 3.1.1 or W95 on computers where either Brainiac Kids would
wipeout files or init or fdisk the hard drive just for pure meanest
(future Virus writers) or Teachers/Supervision attempting to install or
remove a programs.

Let's just say I had battle scars.

I expect actually the first year or two OS-X is out there will be many
people contemplating throwing themselves out windows or jumping off
bridges because they wiped out the hard drives they have all their
life's work on. (Either work or home computer).

Personally i think Apple should disable the commands that would allow
you to do so when you drop into command line. To prevent such accidents.
(Make them available on the developer disk so they would be conciously
made aware the can screw up major big time.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
