hello, all. well, it looks like i'm just going to have to ditch mozilla. it is just too slow when it comes to typing in the navigator and mail composer, as i've described in past posts, copied below. no suggestions for solutions have popped up, so i guess it is just a problem i'll have to live with or ditch mozilla entirely. since i can't stand the 2 second wait per character (cumulative, so a whole paragraph takes about 3 minutes to show up on the window), i'm going to have to go back to netscape. i doubt this problem will ever leave me, since this exact same thing has forced me to leave mozilla every time i have tried it in the past 2+ years. to me, netscape 4.7 is just a superior product, since it does not have this rediculous lag. it is a shame, since otherwse mozilla is a marvelous product, and hreat in many ways. but this one flaw is keeping me from enjoying it. thanks everyone, for what help you have been able to give me. maybe see you again in the future, if mozilla ever becomes as fast as netscape. out of curiosity, just what is it mozilla does differently with user input by keyboard than netscape 4? all typing in mozilla is increadibly slow, from forms to the address bar, to mail composer.
