I have an intellimouse optical with 5 buttons.  Left and right triggers 
default to back and forward.  No "gesture recognizition" needed. 
Besides, when I'm reading I click and highlight things and move the 
mouse randomly.  No, I don't mean I highlight what I'm reading, i mean I 
just click and highlight stuff random things around the page (without 
even looking at them) while I'm reading.  Gesture recognizition would 
screw me over
