Hi,
I just downloaded the latest milestone (0.9.3) and to my horror, found
out that several important things are broken:
1. Dropdown lists (just look at any bug, or Netscape site) show the
dropdown items as an always visible vertical list (thus taking up a lot
of screen space).
2. Crash on this site ("animations" sidebar tab - "Thugs on Film"):
http://info.netscape.com/fwd/lksidusanme/http://home.netscape.com/netcenter/unreel/index.html
3. None of the download links (ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla and
www.mozilla.org/releases/) allow to download the *full installer*. You
are forced to download that silly 211 kb "Net Installer" file. "Save
installation files to disk" is not a good option because it is
*multiple* files - I want just one file as was with milestone 0.9.2.
4. The default recommended download is that stupid "Net Installer" (gray
box under "Try these" on www.mozilla.org/releases/ page). The default
should be the full installer file. I hate those net installers.
Well the crasher and dropdown bugs make this milestone pretty useless.
BTW. I *completely* uninstalled the previous milestone before installing
this one, so it is unlikely that any remnants are causing the problems
(unless my profile is causing problem - which it doesn't with the
nightlies).
PS. I use winNT
