Never had that problem.
But:
When replying to a mail, it /appears/ that Mozilla wraps quoted text the 
wrong way, and it might look Outlook Expressish:

<example>
 > blahblahblah blah blah blah blah blah
blah
</example>

  but don't worry, when the message is sent the wrapping is done 
properly. This /only/ occurs in the editor while composing a reply /and/ 
quoting long lines that exceed the default 72 characters limit.
