compatibility

My bank will no longer accept connections from mozilla or 
Netscape 6.0. They claim that Netscape "has chosen to alter 
their communication standards resulting in this 
incompatibility." Does anyone know what know what they are 
talking about and if I can make mozilla appear to be IE or older 
Netscape?
