First, they're just lying. NS hasn't change any standards or they wouldn't be
standards. NS6.1 and Mozilla re the most standards compliant browser on Earth,
except for Amaya, which is worthless IMHO.

Second, yes, you can spoof the user-agent string. Shut down Mozilla completely,
and add this line to your prefs.js file:

user_pref("general.useragent.override", "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5;
Windows 98");

Now this will make EVERYONE thing your browser is IE5.5 on Windows 98. Someday
you'll probably want to remove this line from your prefs.js file eventually so
that servers know what browser you're REALLY using. Hopefully you'll just use
this until your bank cleans up their act.
