The mail# keywords are used for tracking.  There was little discussion 
about adding that keyword because there was a group of people who 
regularly triage bugs using that keyword.  I'll admit that the naming 
scheme isn't ideal, but the people who use the keyword understand it.

Mail6 is only used for tracking by the triage team(s) as far as I know.
