If you go to the above site or the parent page
http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/ and select demos for 1.3 based
applets it correctly uses the plug-in. If I disable java (ns) then I
dont get the plug-in or the built in vm. I cant find anyway to force the
usage of the vm. If you read the source on the above page it explicitly
calls for version 1.3.1 java. Thats why all the spy pages show the built
in version and not the plug-in version becase they dont specify which
version of java they want so it defaults to the built in.
