Hi,
Our current Bidi (Arabic & Hebrew) default QA contact for Bugzilla has
to attend to personal matters for some time to come. We are seeking
someone who is willing to act as the default QA contact for all Bidi
bugs and manage and triage bugs as needed. This person should ideally
have the following minimum qualifications:
1. You can read/write either Arabic or Hebrew. We already have someone
who can QA Arabic, and so the preference is for someone who can
read/write Hebrew. It would help also a great deal if you are familiar
with general Bidi issues.
2. You know how to work on Bugzilla or will be willing to learn Bugzilla
procedures.
It would really help if you are the kind of person who like to read bug
reports and make contributions by managing bugs and moving important
issues forward toward desired resolutions. You will be asked to verify
bug fixes using current builds and so it would help if you can download
builds daily or frequently.
It would also help if you know internationalization in general but it is
more important that you know about Bidi issues.
