I think you misunderstood what I said. Bugs had already been filed when
the problems came up the first time. I was merely waiting a month or
more for the fixes to get checked in before I could call mozilla usable,
or at least the plain-text mail composer. I do file bugs. Some I
reported several months ago on textarea quirks are still sitting there,
no progress noted in a couple months. They just keep getting pushed out
to some future milestone.
If I could code a fix myself, believe me, I would. Unfortunately, I
can't, so I have to wait with as much patience as I can muster.
Personally, I can deal with new bugs better than regressions.
Regressions annoy me no end. Some of them are so obvious, I don't know
how they could be missed in the smoketests. I do realize that not
everything can be tested in a new build before it's shot out, but it's
still mind-boggling sometimes.
