First of all, thank you for the constructive response.

(a) Isn't the editor important enough to justify more people? It seems 
that it should be. Unless the total number of people available is lower 
than I think (>200).

(b) Pitty that such ("seemingly" basic layout) problems still exist at 
this stage (I know everyone is doing their best, so please don't costrue 
this as criticism to the programmers. Maybe the project 
managers/coordinators have slipped here a bit).
