Mozilla and GNOME Transfer Manager

Is there anyway to get the GNOME Transfer Manager to automatically come 
up when you click on a download link in Mozilla ??

I'm using a very recent nightly build of Mozilla and the latest version 
of the GNOME Transfer Manager all under a custom built Linux installation .
