Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I had a
feeling that someone here knows if what I am trying to do is possible.

In a php project of mine, I need to create pictures of other webpages within
my webpages. I have to create them automatically, so just taking snapshots
isnt an option. I also need to scale them down before displaying them, so I
cant use any tricks with frames/iframes. I had an idea about running a
script that opened up Netscape/Mozilla on my X-server, taking a snapshot of
the screen-buffer, saving it... and so on, but it just turned out to be to
complicated...

Is this possible to do this with parts of the Mozilla engine? Can Mozilla be
told to output what it has rendered as a picture to a file, instead of
displaying it on the screen?

thanks in advance,
