It's unlikely to be fixed anytime soon -- it is a side effect of doing
something else right (live wrapping of non-quoted text), and a
limitation on the rendering of the (internally used only) HTML that
makes that possible. It's definitely been mentioned before, there may
even be a bug filed on it, but it's not a high priority item.
