I have been given the task of comparing Bugzilla with another off the shelf
bugtracking system. It is my understanding that with Bugzilla, all source
code can be enhanced to have any conceivable functionality. However, given
the limited resources at my employer, much time, effort and cost would need
to be taken to get Bugzilla up to speed for desired enviroment and
functionality. (by the way...to renew our current service contract with an
existing third party product would be around $3000 to get upgraded to all
the features mentioned below).

>From a user standpoint: Which of the following features would be included in
the latest Bugzilla install? From a development standpoint, would the
product need a complete rewrite in a given area?

Since this list is so long, if you could address the over arching categories
of functionality, that would be great!

Thanks in advance for those who respond. I hope to be persuaded either
towards Bugzilla or towards upgrading to the third party product.

Steve
